Hanoi is the site of "Thang Long" is old imperial capital of Vietnam. I visited this wonderful riverside city with strong Chinese, French and Vietnamese influenced architecture. Has many lakes that become a popular backpacker destination. The flag tower is where the old imperial city of Thang Long is located. I bought this postcard interestingly in Penang, not Vietnam. Then, I got this same postcard sent from Vietnam thanks to Jo. "Cam On" - thank you so much.
