Augustusburg Castle is a U-shaped with three storeys and two levels of attics and built by the Archbishop-Elector of Cologne of Wittelsbach family. Architects were Johann Conrad Schlaun and François de Cuvilliés. The gardens were designed by Dominique Girard. Thanks to Michaela of Germany.
Postcard 2 - Falkenlust Hunting Lodge
The Falkenlust was completed in 1740, following the style of Amalienburg hunting lodge of Nymphenburg Palace by François de Cuvilliés. It is connected to Augustusburg Castle by the Schloss Park. Thanks to Michaela of Germany
