Chiricahua National Monument is a “Wonderland of Rocks”. There is a 8-mile paved scenic drive and 17-miles of day-use hiking trails provide opportunities to discover the beauty, natural sounds, and inhabitants of this 11,985 acre site. The fascinating rock formations formed by geologic uplift and forces of erosion were once safe havens for the Chiricahua Apache and other Native Americans. Nice stamps of Spiderman and aviation pioneer. Thanks to Jim of Arizona, USA.
