Japan - Chugoku - Hiroshima-ken

Postcard 1
I visited this surreal reminder of the bombed out building of Hiroshima. It was left as a reminder of the first atomic bomb dropped in the world by the Americans. Thanks to Michael of South Africa who sent this postcard at Kobe Port, Japan.

Postcard 2
Hiroshima and Nagasaki were two Japanese cities that suffered from nuclear bombs during World War II. I visited the Hiroshima Peace Center Musuem. Thanks to Jim for sending this multi-view card from Hiroshima.

Postcard 3
Itsukushima Shrine of Miyajima island. One of the most iconic sight of Japan. I took a boat to this beautiful famous island with the red Shinto Gate in the sea. You can walk to around it during low tide. A UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nice matching stamp. Thanks to Kyoko-san, arigatou gozaimashita.
